We are all the same, feelings ect and that includes moods, emotions and opinions no matter who we are, some of us really need to lay off or back off....Once again Susan, well done for apologising and explaining yourself, you are one awesome person and I hope you have an awesome day.

Ohhh Susan move on....Unfortunately first (or in your case, second) impressions last and you can't make everybody like you. You may also want to note that your over-enthusiasm to 'meet at your place for a cuppa' etc could be construed as slightly patronizing. What really did you have in common to begin with, apart from your interest in Red being both disabled and 'normal'? Was he some sort of novelty?

To be honest, most people consider "normal" to be just like the average which is two working arms and legs and a brain to pretty well keep all the bits in between in control. If I said someone looked really average though, they would be probably offended because most people want to be something above average.

Yes, it was funny to read and no, Susan didn't mean anything derogatory by it and has even attempted to apologise on a number of occasions. Sometimes we can be a bit precious and overly PC. If she had done it on purpose, haul her over the coals but as it was unintentional, give her a break.

As for the drink Susan, is it just open to Red or were we all invited because some of us like to partake of the amber liquid just as much as you "average" people do too. LOL. Actually, have we ever all had a drinks evening? Could be something to think about perhaps?

Hey Susan,

If I were you, I would stop, you foot is so far in your mouth already.

Personally, I don't suffer from insanity I enjoy every minute of it.

It is really interesting how people expect a person with a disability to be. I rocked up to a bunch of nursing students to talk about mental illness last month and I asked them straight out, how many of them expected me to turn up in a chair. No one had thought about it but they were surprised.

People don't expect madpeople to have disabilities, or is that people with disabilities have madness.

I suppose my best message to Susan is never assume, it makes an Ass /u/me

Cheers
