Loading ...Following on from her marvelous effort to achieve a silver medal in the 100m butterfly, NZ teenager Sophie Pascoe has won a gold medal in the women’s 100m breaststroke at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. A great result for the 15-year old from Christchurch, who is NZ’s youngest ever Paralympic medallist!
Also in the medal action on day 3 of competition is cyclist Paula Tesoriero, who has won a bronze medal in the women’s Individual Pursuit, to add to her gold medal on the first day.

Dont forget to vote for sophie, or any other nz athlete at the beijing games at www.winanoutlander.co.nz
NZs favourite athlete will win a car, as well as a random voter.
