NZ girl Sophie Pascoe in action at the 2008 Beijing ParalympicsBit slow on this one! But better late than never, I’m stoked to report young Kiwi girl Sophie Pascoe has won silver in the women’s S10 100m butterfly, finishing in a time of 1m 10.53s, a great effort! That takes NZ’s Beijing Paralympics medal tally to a grand total of two! Remember, we’re gunning for 13 medals in total, apparently.

Good on ya Sophie, we’re all very proud of you!

If you’re not sure who Sophie is, I’ve blogged about her before – video included!
