Well, not personally, but surely on the telly is just as good?!
TVNZ’s Attitude programme is bringing you an in-depth look at the team travelling to Beijing for the 2008 Paralympic games, screening tonight (Sunday 31st August) at 11:30pm on TV One, so for all you night owls, make sure you tune in and check it out!
And for those of you particularly interested in wheelchair rugby, TV One are also showing The Power of Attitude: The Journey of the NZ Wheel Blacks tomorrow night (Monday September 1st) at 11pm.
Just as an aside, how appalling is it that TV One can’t be bothered putting such programming at a slightly more accessible (ha!) time-slot? Marginalisation, anyone?

Yep I watched it and it was pretty good. GO NZ!!
I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t show some of the other NZ Boccia team players, the Boccia part was very short compared to the amputee runners. Otherwise it was pretty good.
I also feel that TV One should of had a better time slot for this program like right after the News! It’s only two programs and I’m sure they could fit them in and maybe hault 2 programs just for these. I mean they did this with the whole of the Olympics games during the day and night on TV One for weeks.

Overall very interesting finding out about our team. Was disappointed Boccia didn’t get more time given that we have 7 Boccia players going to Beijing and it would probably be the sport the general public know least about.
I am, however, possibly, a bit biased as I play Boccia and know the Boccia guys competing in Beijing

I was really looking forward to this despite the ridiculous time slot! However I managed to fall asleep and missed the first half! But I did see the Boccia guys so was happy. I also assumed that I had missed the Wheel Blacks. BUT WAIT
Last night the Wheel Blacks got their own 1hr special! While it was interesting (and mostly a repeat of previous Sunday morning Attitude episodes) it certainly appears that the Attitude team have a serious bias to one sport only
Yep I know NZ is a rugby mad nation but still…
