To be honest, I’m not much of a running fan and I don’t really know how many of you are either, but I am a fan of “post-event food and beverage”, and as such the following notice appealed to me! Check the skinny below, but in a nutshell, the lovely people over at the Halberg Trust have teamed up with the sponsorship might of Westpac Bank to provide free registration to disabled people and their friends/family in this year’s Auckland Round The Bays! The 8.4km fun run has become a regular fixture in Auckland’s summer calendar, and I believe this is a great incentive to get disabled people involved in what is always a great day out for all involved.

What: Free entry for disabled people and their friends/family in this year’s 2008 Round The Bays
When: Sunday 16th March
But only if: You register through the Halberg Trust, by contacting Jody Moran by email, or by phoning her on (09) 966 3120, by Wednesday 28th February
