January 30th, 2008 · 1 Comment

New Zealand’s premier specialised equipment display is coming up really soon! “Show Your Ability” is the official moniker attached to a fantastic showfloor dedicated to assistive equipment for disabled people and those who work in the industry. The show includes the display of:

  • Wheelchairs
  • Vehicle modifications
  • Mobility scooters
  • Shower stools
  • Walking frames
  • Portable ramps, and much much more!

The show will be hitting your town as follows:

Auckland: Tuesday 26th February, 9am - 3pm, Trusts Stadium, Waitakere.
Hamilton: Wednesday 27th February, 9am - 3pm, Mystery Creek Convention Centre.
Palmerston North: Thursday 28th February, 9am - 3pm, Arena Manawatu.
Christchurch: Monday 3rd March, 9am - 2:30pm, Pioneer Stadium, Spreydon.
Dunedin: Tuesday 4th March, 9am - 3pm, Edgar Stadium.

If you’re a disabled person, physio, nurse, occupational therapist, or anyone else in the disability field make sure you head along, it’ll be like an adult version of a candy store, I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking ;)

Kerbing, shops, cafes nearly all designed for able bodied persons in Blenheim.
Mega Mitre 10 opened recently in Blenheim, sounds good, BUT, 7 car parks for disability users, all good, BUT, 4 were occupied by tradesmen, 2 by workers of Mega 10 and lastly the 7th was occupied by non other than the MANAGER. Hows that for leading the way
