If you haven’t heard of them already, the Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust is a fantastic non-profit organisation that provides Mobility Dogs for those with physical disabilities, with the aim to “increase the independence, confidence and self-esteem of mobility impaired individuals.”
The Mobility Dogs team receive no government funding whatsoever, and so rely solely on corporate and public support to continue providing their invaluable services, which have such a profound impact on the lives of the recipients of one of these mobility dogs.
The Trust’s inaugural charity golf tournament is coming up on the 7th of March, which will be a great day out at the North Shore golf club, complete with lunch and a light dinner, prizes, raffles, a charity auction, not to mention you’ll be supporting a fantastic cause!
You can download an entry form by clicking here, check out the Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust website, or email Michael and Jody Hogan if you have any further queries/suggestions. If I could play golf I’d totally be there! ;D
