Well, I have to say, a very interesting read. I myself am in a manual chair & yes, I have had very similar situations at movie theatres here in Auckland.

I dont have enough time or space on the web to go into detail about the issues with SkyCity Village in the City, but St Lukes is pretty bad. If you can get to one of the 2 car parks under cover (if they havent been taken by non card holders) then once you have your ticket, its only a short hop (approx 20mtr back the way you came) to the elevator. after traveling up a level, you find you can then go around the walls of the upper level 3times to get back to the top of the stairs where you can enter the movies..

Maybe 200mtrs down, then again back up after the movie, all the while on this nice thick carpet..

But on the plus side, you get to sit at the back, & if you need to go to the loo during the movie, & if the loo isnt broken, its only outside the theatre at the top of the stairs, or down stairs by ticket counter. So toilets not really the problem, its getting the ticket then getting to the movie!!

Ha ha, still, challenge wouldn't be fun without these little exciting components in our lives eh :-)
