51-year-old needs to grow up

October 6th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Stupid iconYou know, when I first read this article, I thought to myself, “I bet she made it up”. Say what you will about my cynicism here, but the whole idea that two blokes would tip a woman out of her wheelchair just to steal 20 bucks seemed a touch ludicrous. Anyway, a few days later, look what showed up on those same very pages:

Wheelchair woman charged with making false complaint

Some people really need grow up. I mean c’mon, she’s 51, she hasn’t got much longer to do it!

ps. Gosh I love the term “Wheelchair woman”, it’s almost like she has a superpower! :P

I use a mobility scooter as I am an arthritic. I feel that anyone who attacks a disabled person is a real low life. Also, folk that are fit, & park in disabled car parks, should face harsher penalties. I will be reading the column. This is a cool idea for physically challenged folk.
    Regards, Trevor.
